Key highlights include:

  • Haleakala Crater

Haleakala is a shield volcano encompassing the full eastern border of Maui. This mountain was built up from lava flow eruptions spanning over thousands of years. It was only after a climate shift, which brought a series of extended torrential rainfalls, did the crater’s shape really take form. Massive rivers developed long, deep channels along the mountain’s slopes. Once the volcanic activity began again, lava streamed down into the valleys and formed unique tubes and cinder cones in the water-carved basin. Seeing the full expanse of Haleakala on a helicopter tour is a unique way to appreciate its beauty and acknowledge the magnitude of the mountain’s varied landscapes.

  • Waterfalls

Maui Waterfalls are one of the most well-known aspects of the “Valley Isle.” Located within the island’s valleys are some of the best waterfalls you can find anywhere. No trip to Maui would be complete without viewing these sights of nature. Upper Waikani Falls, Lower Puohokamoa Falls, Waimoku Falls and Makahiku Falls are some of the most popular waterfalls on the island and can best be seen by air.

  • Coastline

Most people visit Maui for the pristine coastlines and beautiful beaches. With 120 miles of coast, Maui boasts over 30 miles of beautiful beaches where you’ll find white, black and red sand on these famous shores.

These are a few of the sights you can experience on the Maui Dream and Maui Spirit when you fly with Maverick.
