The following are just some of the activities Las Vegas has to offer in May:

Dave Chappelle

Well-known as a comedian, actor, producer and writer, Dave Chappelle is appearing at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino's Event Center on May 5 at 9 p.m. He's considered by fans and colleagues to be one of today's best stand-up comedians.

Joel McHale

McHale brings his snarky style of comedy to the Treasure Island theatre on Friday, May 26 at 9 p.m., where he'll riff on popular culture and his role as father of two sons.

Music superstar Cher will bring her incomparable style, iconic outfits and classic hits to Monte Carlo's Park Theater throughout May. Catch her show at 8 nightly on May 3, 5-6, 10, 12-13, 17 and 19-20.

A Flock of Seagulls

Whether you remember '80s music or are discovering it for the first time, A Flock of Seagulls was one of the era's top bands, known for their great music and crazy hairstyles. Songs including "I Ran (So Far Away)" and "Space Age Love Song" have contributed to the group's enduring popularity. Relive their hits at The Golden Nugget on May 5 at 8 p.m.
