Kauai earned its nickname of the “Garden Isle” from its luscious waterfalls and emerald mountains. Perhaps the most notable waterfall of all of them is Manawaiopuna Falls. Since it appeared in Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster film Jurassic Park in 1993, Manawaiopuna Falls has been lovingly referred to as “Jurassic Falls.” Located on a private stretch of land, the only way to see Jurassic Falls is by air.
