A quick search for Las Vegas on Instagram results in tens of millions of images posted by the social media platform’s users. It made us wonder, “What are people photographing the most while in Las Vegas?” Of course, we needed to set some perimeters such as G-rated posts only, promotional content doesn’t count, and the object in question had to be featured prominently. We used our super scientific research methods (read: made the interns count) to come up with this, the 15 most Instagram’d spots in Vegas.

15. Hell’s Kitchen

Got to visit the first Hell’s Kitchen in Las Vegas! 🔥 @hellskitchenfan

It makes sense that the newest restaurant at Caesars Palace is so popular on the ‘Gram. Moving into the space previously occupied by Serendipity, Hell’s Kitchen, which opened at the end of January, has prime real estate on Las Vegas Boulevard, front and center on the iconic property. The fine dining establishment’s namesake is also bringing people to the table. With several hit reality television shows under his belt, the fiery Gordon Ramsay has amassed quite a following. Be sure to order every Hell’s Kitchen contestant’s favorite dish, beef Wellington.

14. Mandalay Bay

The southernmost casino on the Las Vegas Strip cracks the top 15 lately for obvious reasons, but also, it’s a really cool Vegas hotel. The exotic décor, the swanky lounges and top-notch entertainment make the property a preferred choice for many Vegas regulars. Both the property’s brilliant gold exterior or its Shark Reef Aquarium are perfect backdrops to punch up your Vegas selfie.

13. Stratosphere

Voted the best place to view the city by the readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal for years, the nearly 900-feet-high observation deck affords fearless selfie takers an incredible vantage point. The handful of amusement rides at the top is also a great way to spend an hour on the Strip.

12. Red Rock Canyon

The 13-mile scenic drive through Red Rock Canyon is brimming with gorgeous views of the fiery red landscape. You’ll also find 26 numbered hikes and trails throughout the vast national conservation area. It’s also a great place to take your dog!

11. Hoover Dam

The tour guide didn’t like any of my dam good jokes.

Opened to the public in 1936, Hoover Dam remains a shining symbol of American exceptionalism. To this day, the dam provides hydro-electric power to many municipalities in the region. Approximately 1 million tourists a year visit Hoover Dam. Maverick Helicopters offers unparalleled views of this engineering marvel aboard the Vegas Dream tour.

10. High Roller

The world’s tallest observation wheel is all but guaranteed to garner a ton of likes. Tickets for a Happy Half Hour ride, which includes an all-you-can-drink bar inside the pod, start at just $35. There is no bad time to ride High Roller, but nighttime is always the right time.

9. Bellagio Fountains

There is nothing like seeing them in person. The fountains of Bellagio add more than a hint of Vegas magic to any selfie, which is why the free Strip attraction is so frequently Instagram’d. Don’t forget to take in this “spectacular show of thoughtfully interwoven water, music and light designed to mesmerize its admirers.”

8. New York-New York

Pack all the symbolism that comes with the world’s second most iconic skyline into one awesome selfie. The NYC concentrate that is New York-New York Hotel and Casino manages to shoehorn that city’s greatest hits, like the Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty, into the small confines of your Instagram post. Plus, there’s a rollercoaster!

7. Eiffel Tower

When its owners first came up with the idea of Paris Las Vegas, the initial plan was to build an exact replica of the Eiffel Tower, nearly as tall as Stratosphere Tower. The Federal Aviation Administration had a different plan. In such close proximity to McCarran International Airport, the Las Vegas Strip hotel was forced to settle for a replica of exactly half the size, 541 feet tall. Regardless of its meager dimensions, it still looks beautiful on a cellphone screen.

6. The Chandelier

The Cosmopolitan’s crown jewel, a stunning, three-story chandelier at the center of the casino, serves up delicious cocktails and swanky ambience 24 hours a day. Belly up to one of the bar’s three tiers, encrusted in 2 million crystals in total, and order a glass of Whiskey Business, a new twist on the Old Fashioned that combines The Cosmopolitan’s barrel of Knob Creek bourbon with bitters, Amaro Meletti and “Old Time Rock ‘n’ Roll” syrup.

5. The Venetian

My favorite ❤️

The picturesque canals. The singing gondoliers. The vibrant Venice streetscapes. Spending an evening inside The Venetian can truly feel as though you’ve traveled to the Old World. It’s as if the sprawling property, originally home to The Sands, was designed specifically for Instagram-ers. Be it a quaint, canal-side café within the Grand Canal Shoppes or the replica of St. Mark’s Campanile standing guard on Las Vegas Boulevard, every square foot of The Venetian is a beautiful backdrop.

4. Wynn and Encore

Me enamore de este lugar! 😻

A post shared by Maria Alejandra Vargas (@livewithmaria) on

As arguably the most luxurious resorts on the Strip, both Wynn and Encore are frequently featured on Instagram by guests staying at the Vegas hotels and those who wish they were. When you’re opulent accommodations attract the likes of Prince Harry and George Clooney, it’s obviously going to attract some attention from social media.

3. Las Vegas Welcome Sign

This city landmark has graced every Vegas vacation slide show since 1959. No trip to Glitter Gulch is complete without a visit to the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. Show up just before dusk to get the best effect.

2. Caesars Palace

If Flamingo was the casino that invented the Las Vegas Strip, Caesars Palace perfected it. Its classic Roman architecture, ultra-luxurious amenities, upper-echelon headliners and top-notch restaurants have set the gold standard for the Strip since 1966. Get your social media brag on by snapping a picture in front of Caesar’s statue or in a comfortable leather chair at Montecristo Cigar Bar.

1. The Strip

As hypothesized, the Las Vegas Strip at large is the most Instagram’d spot in the city. Thanks to the bright lights and colorful people, the 4-mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard is the favorite subject of Instagram shutterbugs. Nothing says “jet set” like a long shot of this dazzling cityscape.

These 15 Las Vegas hotels, attractions and hot spots are certainly deserving of the attention. Honorable mentions include Topgolf, CityCenter’s Shops at Crystals, Fashion Show Mall, as well as Downtown Las Vegas’ The D and Golden Nugget. For an unparalleled view of the world famous Las Vegas Strip, take a helicopter tour with Maverick Helicopters. The Vegas Nights tour affords guests marvelous views of both the Strip and Fremont Street.
