Where to Ring In the New Year in Las Vegas

Posted by Maverick Helicopters on Dec 22, 2016 7:10:00 PM

2016 has not been a kind year. We lost a slew of pop culture icons, including rock gods Prince and David Bowie. Hurricane Matthew nearly took out the South East and you couldn't turn on the television without seeing political mudslinging. This makes this New Year's Eve transition from 2016 to 2017 a time to celebrate the year's finality as well as hope for a happy 2017.

This is cause for raucous revelry, and there's no place better for that than the Entertainment Capital of the World! Here's a quick rundown of just some of the most anticipated places to ring in the New Year in Las Vegas this year:

  • Omnia - For those who want to dress up and dance the evening into morning, Omnia nightclub inside Caesars Place is the place to be. Record-breaking DJ Calvin Harris will be at the wheelhouse with a host of modern dance music at his fingertips. Spend time on the dance floor or gaze out over the Strip from the club's rooftop patio. This will be the hippest place to celebrate the coming of 2017.
  • Chateau Nightclub and Rooftop - A top choice for those in search of a little romance is Chateau Nightclub. Enjoy an evening surrounded by bright lights, plush seating and vibrant greenery while the fireworks explode above you. For $136 per person, you can enjoy a three-hour open bar during New Year's Eve. If you go with a group, opt for a table package, starting at $750.
  • George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic - DJ music isn't for everyone. Seeing the Godfather of Funk, George Clinton and his fantastic band, the Parliament Funkadelic, is ideal for music-lovers who prefer live performances over DJ renditions. The group will be performing once again at Brooklyn Bowl this New Year's Eve. Chris White, Senior Vice President of the venue says, "George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic groove harder than anyone, so this year will be on another level. I've seen a lot of amazing things happen in this building, but George Clinton on New Year's Eve will be an incredible experience."

Of course, in addition to celebrating the new year with the hundreds of thousands of other people on the Las Vegas Strip, consider booking a helicopter tour with us. Enjoy a sunset cruise over the city's twinkling lights or take your partner on a day tour over the Grand Canyon South Rim. While the action of the city is what often brings people to Las Vegas, we find the fantastic nature just beyond the skyline really astounds visitors and keeps them coming back for more.
